KougaKares has been primarily focused on caring for the senior citizens of Kouga since its inception. However, we are now in a position to broaden our services by caring for the ecology and more specifically, address the water crisis as well.

KougaKares has just landed our first shipment of Swiss Eco water saving taps, shower heads and Urimat waterless urinals. These Swiss designed and manufactured products have earned multiple international design awards and with the Pressure Compensating Technology included in all the taps and shower heads, are able to reduce water consumption by between 75% and 90% in both domestic and commercial installations.

Kouga is a prime tourist destination with many hospitality B & B’s, Air BnB’s, hotels and guest houses. There is therefore a huge opportunity to drastically reduce guest water usage by installing our shower heads in all rooms.

Not only will this save water consumption by at least 75%, but also electricity, as geysers need to reheat a lot less water and at the same time, not run out of hot water after only one or two extended showers by those less conscious of the current crisis.

In a test case run at Randridge Mall in Gauteng, by simply installing our Swiss Eco taps in the public toilets only, water consumption dropped from almost 60kl/pm in the previous month, to 15kl/pm after installation. This did not include changing any of the taps in shops or offices.

Contact us for an on-site demonstration and see how much money you can save and at the same time contribute to caring for the Kouga ecology and preserving of dwindling water reserves.
